Sanctuary ~concert~ is an improvised R&B/Soul/Jazz live concert.
Sanctuary ~concert~ is a night of improvisation where live instrumentation and vocal freestyles act as a stream of shared consciousness. Cyphers, a term where 3 or more people rap or emote poetry together, will be used to tell a story through sections and bar counts.
Featuring a collection of incredible Toronto musicians, this is a space where Queer/BIPOC/ally folks can come together to perform and express themselves. Including:

- Christina Smith- vocals
- Empara- vocals
- Max- vocals
- Pothound- synths & bass
- Savannah Taylor- vocals
- Vixu- piano/ synths
This event is a production in You In Mind, a new 5-part series by the Music Gallery dedicated to artists whose projects or organizations are not supported by public funding or otherwise do not have the means to present in venues of our scale.
918 Bathurst, is not currently wheelchair accessible due to stairs (two half-flights to enter the performance space, and one flight to access the washrooms). This event will have projected visuals, includes amplified sound and will not include additional scents

Proof of full vaccination or vaccination exception supported by a valid certificate issued by the Ontario Ministry of Health is required at the door. Except in our bar area, masks are required to be worn at all times unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.
