The Future of Water

What Is: Futurism

The Future of Water

Concert , Multimedia , Performance in What Is: Futurism Series

Humanity is nothing without water, this night of music is an exploration of the impact of water on the environment, body, and future.

Water futures are on the mind of many. With the concept of water wars feeling less and less distant, we dive into sides of the future that induce environmental dread. The future isn’t always bright.

We welcome New York–based artist, composer and DJ originally from Morocco, Bergsonist to perform a concert dedicated to world building, both sonic and visual. Bergsonist performs an audio/visual project to play upon concepts of actual/ virtual. Alongside this presentation, both as a performance as well as a running installation piece, musician Acote and projection artist Fezz Stenton team up to present a work dedicated to the movement and health of water. Titled Fluid Index, this project using modular synths, a water tank, and light allows us to literally reflect on the importance of water.
