Future Resonance Festival is a series of concerts, lectures and workshops that celebrate the limitless power of music and bring diverse groups together.

New Music Concerts’ Future Resonance Festival is a three part series dreamed by artist and educator Sandeep Bhagwati (NMC’s Curator in Residence for 2021-23).

Part I: PWYC, April 27, 2022, Doors 7:30 / Event 8PM – Open Rehearsal and Audience Q&A for A Toronto Śabdagatitāra – A New Collective Creation initiated and led by Sandeep Bhagwati in preparation for the April 30 Swara Sutras concert.

Part II: PWYC, April 28, 2022, Doors 7:30 / Event 8PM A solo multimedia piece by Sandeep Bhagwati titled “Dhvanivala – A Merchant of Sounds.”

Part III: April 30, 2022 Doors 7PM / Pre-concert talk 7:15PM / Concert 8PM A concert showcasing the collective creative process of musicians:

ACCESSIBILITY INFO

918 Bathurst, is not currently wheelchair accessible due to stairs (two half-flights to enter the performance space, and one flight to access the washrooms). This event will have projected visuals, includes amplified sound and will not include additional scents.
