Michael Snow Memorial
A music-focused memorial remembering artist, musician and CCMC co-founder Michael Snow
From his iconic 1967 experimental film Wavelength and other groundbreaking films, which include La Région Centrale (1971), to his public art sculptures and installations, which span his career, to his photography, paintings, and pioneering role in Toronto’s free improvisation community, Michael Snow’s impact on contemporary Canadian and international art, film, and music cannot be overstated.
The Music Gallery and Arraymusic join together to host a memorial for Michael on January 26 at 918 Bathurst St. There will be a performance by the extended CCMC ensemble and other mementoes of Michael’s life and work.
If you can’t make it, please feel free to share any stories, tributes or memories of Michael through this form. We will compile all submissions for Michael’s family.
