Concert in Departures 2022-2023 Series

Experimental guitarist / electronic manipulator Ale Hop makes her first Toronto appearance with opening sets by electronic composer Robin Hatch and experimental duo You Can Can

Berlin based Peruvian-born sound artist Ale Hop twists her experimental guitar techniques with synthesized processing to create captivating raw soundscapes that are rhythmic yet full of foreboding drones. Ale Hop will perform a solo live set for the first time in Toronto. Joined  by local experimental electronic neo-classical composer Robin Hatch, who also plays in the space of synthesized sounds and acoustic references, as well as musique concrete / avant folk duo You Can Can (Andrew Zukerman & Felicity Williams).
