1:11 moonwatching

1:11 moonwatching is a convergence of music and spatial audio—a lush improvisational score, with ethereal vocals, bass, and found sounds through MAX msp.


Due to unforeseen circumstances, 1:11 moonwatching with Jenna Geen and Zoma is cancelled for tonight. We will be working closely with the artists to find a suitable replacement date to make this amazing project come to fruition.

Ticket holders will be contacted directly to issue refunds, or exchange for a future show in June. Thank you and see you soon!



1:11 moonwatching explores the full scope of the human voice, stringed instruments, electronics and found sounds through an avant-garde method. An evening of improvisation, experimental and classical vocalism, and ethereal sonic textures that transport the audience into a magical and liminal space of 6.1 surround sound.

TICKETING

Our new ticket type invites you to Pay What You Can Afford (PWYCA) which means that you can choose an appropriate level and where possible, help to offset community members attending at a discounted rate. Levels are decided by you based upon your income and financial flexibility and are not verified at the door.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO

918 Bathurst, is not currently wheelchair accessible due to stairs (two half-flights to enter the performance space, and one flight to access the washrooms). 

We will have ear plugs, sunglasses, and a ‘therapeutic room’ for those that need it. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to matthew@musicgallery.org.
