Sounding Difference

The Music Gallery presents
Sounding Difference
FREE

Sounding Difference begins with a collective listening meditation, followed by an opportunity to sound vocal response to internal and external listening. In the form of a choir who composes its own tones, participants are guided by the Deep Listening text scores of Pauline Oliveros (1932-2016), as imparted by Anne Bourne DLCH.

This event is held in the Great Hall of the Music Gallery. Please note, some of the scores involve an option of discreet physical contact. There is some floor work so bring indoor shoes, and cushions or mats if you like, chairs will be provided. We intend this choir to be inclusive of all. Please contact us in advance for special requirements for difference of physical or other ability. We are working on access and appreciate community input.

Deep Listening ®is a not a therapeutic but a creative practice that may give rise to a sense of well-being.
