The Music Gallery presents
Deep Listening Intensive, featuring Anne Bourne
The Music Gallery at 918 Bathurst

This season, we are pleased to host two Deep Listening Intensives conducted by Anne Bourne. Our first session took place during our X Avant festival last fall. This session opens up the airy, light-filled environs of 918 Bathurst’s Sun Room to the public for a springtime celebration and/or contemplation.

The mission of the Deep Listening Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York is to steward the continued development of artistic expression, humanitarian scholarship, and understanding of human perception and cognition begun by Pauline Oliveros with her innovative Deep Listening practice decades ago. Bourne will lead participants in experiential listening meditations and sounding pieces composed by Oliveros.

This is a free event which requires no ticket purchase or reservation.
