Laughter fills our sanctuary room as we welcome back Laraaji.

Laughter is one of the most healing sounds known to humankind. In listening we can find joy, camaraderie and release. In the doing, our lungs and organs fill with oxygen, our stress dissipates.

On this day of creating community connection and sharing big laughs, we are so happy to invite Laraaji who returns to the Music Gallery after 10 years. Starting the evening off with a laughter yoga course (7:00 pm) alongside long time collaborator Arji OceAnanda, the night will continue (8:30 pm) into a sonic cuddle puddle of sound bath administered by Laraaji and Arji, alongside longtime Music Gallery family, New Chance with her new project Peaceful Mind.

The sound bath portion of the evening will be visually accompanied by the work of Charline Dally.

This ticket is for the Laughter Yoga portion of the night only. If you would like to attend both the Laughter Yoga + Sound Bath you can purchase tickets to both events separately. If you wish to attend the Sound Bath, you can find the link here or in button below:

Our new ticket type invites you to Pay What You Can Afford (PWYCA) which means that you can choose an appropriate level and where possible, help to offset community members attending at a discounted rate. Levels are decided by you based upon your income and financial flexibility and are not verified at the door.

918 Bathurst, is not currently wheelchair accessible due to stairs (two half-flights to enter the performance space, and one flight to access the washrooms).

We will have ear plugs, sunglasses, and a ‘therapeutic room’ for those that need it. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to matthew@musicgallery.org

We strongly encourage masking at all times. For our full policy, click here

We expect all attendees and community members to respect one another, and to respect the work that was created for you to explore. We will not tolerate harm or harmful behaviour of any kind. View our policy here.
