X Avant XIII: Sampler Cafe with Matthew Creeasian
Matthew Creeasian returns to host a mid-afternoon edition of Sampler Cafe, an open-format jam for beatmakers and producers. Sampler Cafe has been running for several years in Edmonton. Last year, it reached Toronto for the first time, and made a return appearance in this summer’s Manifesto festival. Much like our National Drone Day event a couple of years ago, people of all skill levels are invited to bring their gear and plug in for a jam session of epic proportions. Headphones are welcome, and collaboration is encouraged. Given the diverse musicality of the MG community, this ought to be a sonically fascinating session.
