As an act of defiance, we’ve compiled resources to remind you of something inherently human: the ability to choose

As part of our What Is: noncompliance festival, various artists have compiled resource lists as a key element of the project’s educational focus. It can be difficult to take a critical approach to the world without access to the right information. In an age of misinformation, overwhelm, and disinformation, these resources serve as a reminder that to be human is to have choice. Flip through these guides, initiatives, and references, you may stumble upon something new.

A web art activation titled “Exodus Big Techius: Root to leaving Google/Apple/Microsoft for the Collective Open Source” as a way for community to consider ways to remove themselves from big tech. This resource is built both for micro and macro changes.
