Join our Board of Director

Director on the Music Gallery Board of Directors (Volunteer Position)

Deadline: November 14, 2025

The Music Gallery cultivates artistic experimentation and community through sound, music and sharing in the creative process. Each year we present a series of concerts, festivals, workshops, and residencies that centre genre-defying music, and strengthen connections between artists and audiences. Founded in 1976, we are celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2025-26.

We are looking for community members who care about our mission, and share our values, to join our board of directors. Our board reflects a range of lived experiences and identities. Collectively the board serves a governance and policy role in support of strategic and operational matters, while prioritizing anti-racism and anti-oppression in our planning and decision-making.

About the role:

We are committed to maintaining a Board that reflects Toronto’s diversity. We especially encourage applications from BIPOC people, people with disabilities, and people of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions.
