Accessibility
These general policies address frequently asked questions regarding accessibility.
Our efforts to enhance program accessibility are ongoing. This page will be updated to reflect changes and new initiatives. Feel free to contact us regarding any items not addressed in this summary.
Support Persons
The Music Gallery provides free admission to a support person accompanying an audience member with a disability. Our standard admission policy applies to one support person. The audience member with a disability would pay their regular admission price.
We encourage community members interested in attending events with a support person to contact matthew@musicgallery.org in order to receive a code for use when purchasing Music Gallery tickets in advance. Box office staff will be available at the entrance of events to inform visitors of our admission policy.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at the Music Gallery when accompanying a visitor with a disability. The owner will take responsibility for their service animal (including cleanup and tending to any emerging needs the animal will have).
The Music Gallery distinguishes between service animals (who are trained and work to provide a specific support for particular disabilities), and pets. Pets are not permitted during Music Gallery programming.
Seating
Music Gallery programming blends seated and standing options for audiences. Unless specified, we do not offer assigned seating, however we prioritize seating for audience members who request a chair for physical comfort and accessibility purposes. Audience members can speak to Music Gallery staff to ensure they have access to a seat as required.
Venue Accessibility
The Music Gallery programs in a variety of spaces during a concert season. Venue-specific information will appear on each event page and where possible will include links to additional relevant/available information.
